Business Leader Media Award Recognizes Executives of Rising Companies
September 30, 2009 – Denise S. Bennett, president of DS Bennett Business Strategies and Focus Visions Mortgage Group, LLC, has been named a recipient of the 2009 Movers and Shakers award by Business Leader Media. The award, now in its sixth year, recognized Bennett as the leader of a rising company of fewer than 100 employees.
Judges evaluated nominees based on their company's revenue growth, business achievements and community involvement.
Winners were announced at a September 21st ceremony at The Royal Banquet & Conference Center, housed in the historic Royal Bakery building. They will also be featured in the September 2009 issue of Business Leader magazine
During her career, Bennett has been recognized many times for leadership and achievement. In addition to the Movers and Shakers award, she recently received a 2009 Pinnacle Small Business Award from the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and the 2009 Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole Living Legend Award from the Mahogany Dime Foundation.
